Celebrating Easter in London: A Traveler’s Guide to Spring in the Capital
This trip we stayed in the South Hampton Area and it was so nice! I lived in Putney many many moons ago and London is always one of my favorite cities to visit. The Natural History Museum is always first on my list . The National Geographic Wildlife Photographer of the year exhibition is one exhibition here I enjoy . Head to South Bank for a riverside walk — the views of Big Ben, the London Eye, and the city skyline are iconic. If you’re into history, visit Westminster Abbey for a traditional Easter service, or spend a quiet afternoon at the British Museum or Tate Modern. I like to explore Covent Garden. One of my favorite shops Neals Yard Remedies is here in Neals Yard and it’s a fun, lively area with tasty cafes . Don’t miss a visit to Borough Market or Columbia Road Flower Market to soak up the season — both are bustling with color, flavors, and springtime energy.
You could also head to Harrods if you’re feeling fancy ! Truth be told my favorite chocolates on earth are here Charbonnel
These a the most decadent pieces of heaven I’ve ever had . If you only make one purchase in London let it be these chocolates … You won’t regret it! Speaking of food..
Where to Eat in London
I’ve had the best Indian food of my life in London ! If you’re wanting something high end try Tamarind You’ll find excellent places and many options on Brick Lane . There’s great shopping and food at boxparkshoreditch

Wandering around Soho we stumbled upon a Thai spot called Kiln I highly recommend The Connaught Bar for Appretivo The Martini Cart is quite the experience and the Bartenders here know what they’re doing ! We wanted to try Jean Georges by Helene Darroze and out of all the Michelin Star places I’ve been to this one was the second least impressive sadly. I won’t go into detail as I’m not a restaurant critic but at 900 British pounds (lunch tasting menu) it wasn’t worth it in my opinion.

There’s something undeniably special about London in the spring — the way the city seems to stretch and bloom after winter, full of fresh air, longer days, and that soft golden light. Whether you’re wandering through flower-filled parks, sipping coffee in a quiet neighborhood café, or standing in awe of its historic landmarks, spring adds a sense of renewal to every moment. London invites you to slow down and soak it all in — and Easter is the perfect excuse to do just that.
